Professor Jeffrey Miller
Associate Professor of Engineering Practices, USC
Prof. Jeffrey Miller is an Associate Professor of Engineering Practices in the Computer Science department at USC. Prior to beginning at USC, Prof. Miller was an Assistant and Associate Professor of Computer Systems Engineering at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA). While at UAA, he ran STEM summer camps for five years, overseeing the organization and funding for summer camps in robotics, rapid prototyping, GPS tracking, structure destruction, environmental surveying, and FM radio creation. Prof. Miller oversees the curriculum, organization, and day-to-day activities of the camps. He strives to provide mentorship to the university students helping with the camps through hands-on leadership. Prof. Miller is very involved in the camps and has a true passion for education at all levels.
The camp director is supported by a diverse team of computer science students from all around the world. This hand selected team is excited to pass along their knowledge of computer science to a younger generation. These counselors guarantee a personalized experience with a nearly 10-1 student-to-teacher ratio and help keep the camp running smoothly.
